Privacy policy

This site is operated by Holden Hinkle Technical Advisory. Data collection is intentionally minimal: the site exists to describe advisory services and to receive consultation requests.

Information collected

When you submit the consultation form, the following information is collected: your name, email address, the type of help you are interested in, your description of what you are trying to decide, and — if you choose to provide them — your company or website and desired timeframe. The submission also records the page it was sent from and a timestamp.

The site does not collect payment information, and no account is required.

Why it is collected and how it is used

Consultation-form information is used solely to evaluate whether a proposed engagement is a good fit and to respond to your request. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing lists.

What you should not submit

Please do not submit confidential source code, credentials, trade secrets, personal data about other people, or other sensitive information through the contact form. Confidential material can be shared later under an appropriate confidentiality agreement.

Third-party services

Form submissions are delivered by a third-party form-handling service, which processes the information you submit in order to deliver it by email. The site does not use advertising pixels, session replay, or cross-site tracking. If privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to say so.

Data retention and deletion

Submissions are retained as email correspondence only as long as they are useful for evaluating or conducting an engagement. To request deletion of information you have submitted, reply to any correspondence or submit a request through the contact form, and it will be removed from active records.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site or its services change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
